Sahana Bhagat is a Associate at BlueMark focused on impact assurance and verification. Sahana joined BlueMark in June 2022.

Before joining BlueMark, Sahana was an Intern at Quona Capital, an impact investing firm focused on fintech, where she supported operations accross three funds, focusing on impact reporting and metrics. Prior to that, Sahana was a research assistant at the National Security Policy Center, where she consulted on remote warfare and resilience for the U.S. Air Force, concentrating on the operational and psychological factors contributing to high rates of PTSD among drone pilots. Before that, she worked as a researcher in Cape Town, South Africa, evaluating the impact of local social enterprise on public health outcomes.

Sahana holds a BA in Global Security and Justice, with a minor in Social Entrepreneurship from the University of Virginia.
