Pelin Türkmen joined BlueMark as a Business Development Analyst in August 2024, bringing diverse international experience from financial and research institutions across multiple continents.

Before joining BlueMark, Pelin served as an ESG Analyst at Cambridge and Counties Bank, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the bank’s ESG strategy and framework. She contributed significantly to the bank’s climate regulatory alignment initiatives and worked closely with the risk department on ESG-related risks. Her impactful work in the ESG space earned her the 2024 Rising Star Award in the ESG category from We Are The City in London, UK.

Prior to her role at Cambridge and Counties Bank, Pelin gained valuable experience at Deloitte in the Financial Advisory department, where she was a driving force behind the establishment and successful launch of a new business line within the Forensics division, focusing on anti-money laundering and anti-fraud awareness.

Pelin’s professional journey is rooted in her academic experiences, beginning with her time at the United World College of the Adriatic. There, she focused on driving meaningful impact through community-centered initiatives, successfully securing grants to support transformative projects. She remains deeply connected to the United World College (UWC) community, serving as a member of the Selection Committee for UWC Romania. Pelin holds a BSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science, where she specialized in Environmental Science, Sustainable Development, and Environmental Economics.
