Nadza Durakovic leads client verification services and supports business development and strategy at BlueMark.
Nadza’s career spans close to a decade in impact investing, where she has mainly focused on supporting institutional investors in developing their impact investment strategies and tailor-made impact products. While at graduate school, she worked at the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) and shortly thereafter became an integral part of the early team at Tideline in 2015. During her time with Tideline, she led research, strategy and impact management projects for prominent impact investors, including Ford Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, MacArthur Foundation, and KKR.
Since Tideline, Nadza was hired as an internal expert by Danone Communities to help design and launch their EUR 50 million blended finance fund focused on water access across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. More recently, she took on the role as Head of innovative Finance at New Ventures, a leading impact investing and venture capital firm in Mexico, where she built out a team to support European and U.S. investors looking to deploy their capital more effectively in LatAm through sourcing, due diligence, outsourced investment management, and investment mechanism design.
Nadza completed a BA from Wellesley College and an MPA from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University, where she focused on international development and advanced economic analysis. She is fluent in both Bosnian and German.
