Benedikt Kramer joined BlueMark as Business Development Director in February 2024.

Ben has been active in the impact investment space in a variety of roles for over a decade. Ben started his career as an impact investor at the African Development Corporation, a private equity firm focused on investments in financial services companies in Africa. Following his time at ADC, he raised funding from impact investors (including business angels, venture capitalists, family foundations and DFIs) to start a social venture dedicated to increasing accessibility of banking services in rural East Africa, and grew and led the company until its acquisition by a South African banking start-up. At BlueMark he brings together his experience as an impact investor, investee and grantee, towards the aspiration of creating a more just and sustainable financial system.

Ben holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Master’s in Sustainable Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
